The founder (Adrian Price) realised that he had met all his boyfriends and partners in real life and was sick of the cold impersonal process of scrolling through app page after app page without really discovering anyone exciting or meaningful. He thought, "Surely it would be better to meet in real life like straight people do wherever they are... Bars, Cafes, BBQs, Gyms, or just walking the dog. You know, the simplest thing for straights but hit or miss for us until now with the Staggin brand being GAY ONLY."
Staggin was created over a period of ten years because the founder (Adrian Price) was searching for a better way to be represented. Fashion brands ‘cater to’ the gay community in order to “GET OUR BUSINESS” and it’s time that we take back control of where our money goes and who it supports.
"There was a time that we accepted the token gay vote from the world but things are now changing and so we need ownership of our own Gay Owned businesses that directly support our community (Tribe). We don’t deserve to be marginalised with a token or made to feel 'synonymous with the lesser' and having a GAY BRAND, that we can own and be proud of, is our goal.”
If you're straight, wear something else unless you want to be hit on by heaps of men!
