Staggin Tribe was created as a central place for the gay community to come together with common goals in order to make the world a safer and easier place to be us. To acheive this we need to be a strong focused community that can act together if necessary. If we move together in the face of threats and injustice we can make real change.

Gay people live and work everywhere and that is powerful if we can move together to take back our power and respect. Protests have their place as do legal battles but sometimes we have to do more. If we don't the world will walk all over us AND THAT HAS TO STOP.

Staggin Tribe has real world solutions that can make the world take notice of us all and demand respect. We deserve respect and now is the time to come together and stand up for each other as a Tribe with a "Don't F$%k with us" attitude. You might be asking BUT what can I/we do?

As scattered individuals, not much BUT as an organised group (tribe) with a common goal we suddenly become as powerful as the organisations that attack us. We represent approximately 10% of the global population (including closeted folk) so our numbers amount to approximately 800 million in 2022. That means we are the third biggest population on the planet.

Other faith based organisations that seek to attack us are powerful because they have deep pockets and huge numbers of people that act as a mob against us. So we need to build our own organisation, our own Tribe that can counter the onslaught being levelled against us. The only way we can do this is to create our own deep pockets and our own unified group.

Knowledge of our heritage creates a new internal truth and sense of identity that will unite us so we can be proud in a way that cannot be denied in the world. Staggin Tribe is about moving away from being the 'pink dollar identity' and becoming what old cultures understand us as 'Original Peoples'. The truth that we've forgotton or haven't realised changes everything when we are shown why we are unique and special.

We have cultural heritage but we just don't know it. In modern times our heritage is represented by more tangible things like gay art, music, photographs and traditions like pride marches or events. Most families have their own traditions and heritage but unfortunately many of us are cast out for being gay. This creates a feeling of loss and disconnectedness that makes us feel alone and not worthy.

But your true heritage isn't connected to your birth family or where you were born or what religion you happened to be born into. Your true heritage is bound to the fact that gay people have been around since the beginning of humanity itself. From the time humans have had babies, gay folk were born as a percentage of the original humans (homo sapiens) all the way to present day. Humanity is 300,000+ years old and so are we.

That is your true heritage. We are the oldest minority group on the planet and you can be proud of being part of that very old and amazing Tribe. This means that you automatically belong to and can identify as part of 'Original Peoples'.

Recognising ourselves as Original Peoples creates an internal shift towards being a valid proud Tribe that deserves respect as the oldest continuous minority group on the planet.

Australian Indigenous people are the oldest known continuous culture on the planet that stretches back more than 60,000 years and gay people have been around in their population too. This provides us undeniable proof that we have existed for thousands of years in every culture everywhere. The vilification of gay people to current day levels is a very new thing created by organisations that don't want us to unite because they are scared what it might mean for their position of power.

As a member of Staggin Tribe you belong to an exclusive group of like minded people like yourself with a common thread that stretches back to the beginning of humanity. That thread unites us and commands internal pride and respect regardless of your level of participation. When we realise internal respect, we expect it externally which will bring a positive change to your daily life that you won't expect.

Now you know that you can identify as an Original Person, that identity is enshrined in everything Staggin Tribe. Australian culture demonstrates a fellowship that is unlike any other towards our fellow Australians and will stand together as one against all foes or threat. If one of us is threatened we all come to the rescue and help with no reward expected. We are one but we are many.

We bring this same principle and code of ethics to Staggin Tribe so no-one gets left behind as we grow and create a brighter future for all of us. It is amazing to know that other Staggin Tribe members will have your back, no questions asked in the face of adversity and threat to your safety.

Initially Staggin Tribe projects have been defined to cover a variety of needs that we think would assist our tribe the most as we grow but we are always open to hearing about other suggestions from the Tribe Members by contacting us at info@staggin.com with the subject as PROJECT SUGGESTIONS. Of course the more money we have, the more good we can do. All donations go to the projects as well as a percentage of profit generated by products sold across all Staggin products. Staggin Tribe wants to build a support system for the Gay community and the LGBTQIA+ as a whole. As we grow, so too will that support base and we will release progress reports that will demonstrate our commitment to positive action.

We’ll put our money where our mouth is and ask our STAGGIN TRIBE to vote for where the money goes. Each vote will go towards shaping our future and creating something awesome for all of us. More on this through the coming editions of the STAGGIN Members Newletter created for STAGGIN TRIBE.

Get recognition for being Original Peoples
Reclaim our human rights and stand up for them
Create Gay ownership and support
Redirect our sadness and anger to creating something for us instead
Take the lead for ourselves on shaping our future
Realise we WERE made this way no matter what some religious people say
Build gay only services for gay people, run by gay people with no-one left behind
Ditch the apps and meet in real life

Tribe gathers around fire to connect and remember. We remember and honour our people that have gone before us and celebrate our wins and learn from our losses so we can be stronger now and into the future. We just want to be free!

This monthly tradition is a reminder of our solidarity, culture and heritage as Original Peoples. Tribe Fire Ceremony is about cleansing bad mojo from the people and the land in order to make pathway for a brighter future.

Same sex attraction is in our blood and that makes us all blood brothers. Celebrate that which binds us with song and dance the first Saturday of every month. Join Staggin Tribe at major events, create your own bonfire (with permits if required in your area), have a firepit fire, gas fire, light a candle or several, arrange fairy lights in a circle on the floor or whatever is possible for your circumstance. Some watch Tribe Fire Ceremony on youtube. If you're alone on Tribe Fire Ceremony night it won't matter because you know that tribe is there in spirit for us all. Fire warms all our souls through blood.

Tribe Fire Ceremony is a safe space for us all respect and kindness is demanded and expected by and to all so everyone can enjoy and feel the comfort of solidarity.
